"Building trust and helping my patients on the way to better health and a happy, confident smile is my vocation"
You could say that dentistry is in Stephanie Kerk's blood. Born and raised in Germany she started to assist in her parents' dental practice at 13 years old. Naturally outgoing and curious, Stephanie enjoyed meeting and helping people. She soon discovered that she had an innate ability to put people at ease in what many people consider a stressful environment. The combination of craft and intellectual challenge, coupled with natural empathy, made dentistry the perfect career choice for her.
Having graduated as top of her class, from the prestigious Heidelberg University, Stephanie honed her skills in Germany before moving to Fife in 2004, where she has worked in private practice since.
An integral part of the Linden Tree's philosophy is to work together with every patient to keep them healthy and prevent the need for treatment. Where treatment is advised, Stephanie likes to create a holistic, longterm dental health vision for the benefit of every patient to avoid unnecessary or excessive treatment. She is passionate about aesthetic dentistry and specialises in implant treatment. Her considerable training in Europe also allows her to employ a host of unique techniques to help her patients smile again with confidence, something which she strongly feels everybody deserves.

Roger was born in Switzerland and raised in Portugal, where he graduated from the University of Lisbon, with a Masters Degree focused on the impact of healthy teeth in facial aesthetics. Soon after, he moved to Scotland in pursuit of new challenges for his professional career, where he has now been living and working since 2015.
Believing that a healthy smile plays a significant role in an individual's mental wellbeing, Roger takes great care to explain to patients what options are available to them, and what results they can expect, helping people feel more comfortable and in control of their dental treatments.
Recognising that many people struggle with anxiety when sitting on a dentist's chair, Roger strives to provide the utmost quality in care and treatment. With detailed planning, he will return your confident smile, and help you feel at ease during the entire treatment.
Originally from Aberdeen, Calum completed an undergraduate degree in Zoology at the University of Dundee before embarking on his dental training at Peninsula College of Medicine & Dentistry, graduating in 2013. He then gained membership of the College of General Dentistry (formerly Royal College of Surgeons of England) by examination in 2015.
Calum began receiving referrals from other dentists for root canal treatments in 2017 and now limits his practice exclusively to, “Restorative Endodontics,” focussing as much time and effort on the rebuilding of these teeth as he does on completing the root canal treatments themselves. He regularly attends advanced endodontic and restorative training courses, seeking out the best educators in these fields across the UK and beyond, a trip to Oslo for his first international course being a particular highlight.
In 2023 he founded Fife Dental Study Club welcoming fellow dental professionals to talks at the practice on a variety of dental topics in order to encourage group learning and to remain in contact with his loyal referrers.
Calum is happy to receive referrals from dental colleagues for all aspects of endodontic treatment. Composite cores will be completed and your patient shall be returned to you for ongoing care. A discharge email will include Calum’s recommendations for cuspal coverage restorations, follow-up protocols etc as needed.
Chris is our resident Irishman. Born in Northern Ireland before moving to Scotland. He graduated from the University of Dundee with a Batchelors degree in Dentistry and followed this up by working in a number of practices throughout Fife. Chris joined the team here at The Linden Tree Dental Lounge in September 2022.
Since graduating he has focussed his further training in a number of key areas - namely full mouth rehabilitation and smile makeovers, orthodontic treatment (teeth straightening) and the treatment of anxious patients. This further training has allowed Chris to achieve formal qualifications with a Post Graduate Diploma in Orthodontics with Distinction. This allows Chris to take referrals from colleagues with cases that may be a bit more complex.
Chris has always felt that "a smile to be proud of" should be accessible to everyone and dental anxiety should not be a barrier, so with this in mind Chris is also a trained sedationist with additional training in hypnotherapy and uses this to make patients dental experience much calmer and more pleasant.
Chelsea grew up in Dunfermline and after leaving school she moved to Madrid to achieve her dream of studying dentistry at the Universidad Europea de Madrid. After achieving her Bachelors degree in Dentistry in 2020, Chelsea moved back to Fife to work as general dentist. In August 2023, Chelsea joined the team here at The Linden Tree Dental Lounge.
Chelsea is a very hardworking and empathetic individual and her passion for dentistry shines through. She places a strong emphasis on building rapport with her patients, ensuring they feel at ease and comfortable with their treatment at all times. Chelsea has a keen interest in prosthodontics and facial aesthetics and plans to undertake further training in these fields in the future.
Following graduation, Allan initially worked in rural practice where he found a need to develop a broad skillset in order to meet the needs of his patients. Blessed/cursed with a curious mind, this led him down a path of professional development where he has completed advanced training in many aspects of dentistry and patient care, and is generally considered something of a “huge nerd” in his field. In 2020 Allan began lecturing on restorative and orthodontic dentistry and has spoken across the UK and at international conferences, leading to an award for “Most inspiring journey” from the CPD community he spoke with. Allan now provides mentorship to other dentists, giving back where he was given so much from like-minded colleagues around the world, but his own education is always ongoing.
At his core, Allan’s passion lies in working with his patients as something of a “dental engineer” - this means the goals of treatment will always begin with health and function, and the rest builds upon these tenets. You will find his approach to be gentle, caring, and comprehensive as he guides you through the management of your case and works with you to achieve your goals. If you find Allan familiar, it may be because he was in Sensodyne’s global “Sensitivity and Gum” ad campaign in 2023, you can see the advert here: https://youtu.be/bOnljz1hF-8
